you've to work a lot yet, but seems like you arent bad, so here's my +1, keep working on all that stuff (NR gear / rockfury / RINGS / spellnab turban and blablabla anyway im nub on mages so you wait to budheavy

I will make an official post tonight if I have time. Since you have +1 from some legit players I will definitely consider your application if you are willing to work a bit and show dedication to upgrading your gear! But today is valentines day over in Taiwan where I live, so I have to spend time with my girlfriend. Haha. I know--lame! I will reply with a big long wall of text as soon as possible!

Gonna do a bit of copy/pasting, just to give you an overview of what you'll need to be ready to come to a raid:

1. Consumables - Don't forget about "Elixir of Greater Firepower".  You will be required to use that elixir, even though it's quite expensive.  If you have fishing up, you can farm Firefin Snappers, use an alchemist to make that into Fire Oil and then use an herbalist to farm Firebloom -- It takes quite a bit of fish, my suggestion is just to have an Alchemy/Herbalist alt and buy the fish off the AH when they are cheap, if you don't want to waste time fishing.

Make sure the Arcane Elixir you bring is Greater Arcane Elixir and not the pink 20 spell dmg one (although if you want to use both, it is doable )

The others to make sure to have are:
Elixir of Fortitude, Rumsey Rum Black Label, Demonic Rune/Dark Runes, Limited Invulnerability Potion, Scroll of Intellect, Scroll of Stamina, Light Feathers or Noggenfogger Elixir, Major Troll's Blood Potion, Heavy Runecloth Bandages, Dirge's Kickin' Chimaerok Chops, Spider Sausage or Tender Wolf Steak, and possibly more, depending on the situation.

2. Stamina - The main problem with pre-raid or entry level gear is not the spell damage or the +hit as much as it is the stamina.  Raiding Naxx and AQ40 requires full use of stamina consumables and often re-enchanting gear to stamina enchants for certain encounters.  If you use Dirge's + Spider Sausage + Rumsey Rum + Fortitude you will get about an extra 640hp, but on some bosses you will need around a 5k minimum -- so perhaps in your case, you might want to re-enchant your bracers to +9 stamina, until you get some higher HP gear.  It's just something to keep in mind.

3. Spec - You will want to use THIS SPEC HERE (you could grab pyroblast/blastwave instead of max imp. scorch, if you wanted) for raiding AQ40 or Naxx.

4. Gear - You will want to change a bit of your gear, which luckily is easy to do (if you have gold).  If you are running low on cash (even if not) you should start voting right now on the wow-one site, because there is some important gear you can get from "vote points".

a. Trinkets = Good
b. Wand = Good for Frost, but you'll need a fire wand.  I suggest buying a 20-22 Green Fire Dmg. wand off the AH if you can afford it.  If you cannot afford this option, you should go with farming THIS WAND with vote points or by doing Scholomance (drops off Baron)
c. Rings = Good for Frost, but you'll need rings with +hit for raiding.  I suggest RING 1 (from ZG/voting) and RING 2 (UBRS/voting).
d. Belt = Bad.  I suggest you replace it with BELT 1 (from BRD arena) or even BELT 2 (from ZG/voting).
e. Gloves = Good.  For raiding with any serious guild, you will need to enchant those gloves with +20 fire dmg.  Since they are good gloves, that enchant isn't a waste!
f. Bracers = Bad.  These bracers can be replaced by grinding THESE BRACERS (Combat, Tactical, Logistical Badge combo turn-in through quests in Cenarion Hold).  This grind will take you a while, is best done with other players from trade/world chat, but can even be done solo, as Frost spec.
g. Cloak = Fine for now.  If you don't want to enchant it with Subtlety, then I can understand, given the extreme prices right now.  If you have the money, it's worth the enchant.  If you don't, then just try to grab THIS CLOAK (from AQ20).
h. Chest = Good.  Enchanting +4 all stats is a bit better than +100HP, but you can keep that enchant for now.
i. Helm = Bad.  You need to change to THIS HELM (from UBRS/voting).  You will also need to enchant any helm that you have with Arcanum of Focus (+8 spell dmg) or even Constitution (+100 hp) will work, too.
j. Legs =  Good, but you will still need to enchant them the same as the helm, which I just listed.
k. Shoulders = Good for Frost, but you will need fire shoulders.  I suggest THESE SHOULDERS (from farming Dukes from the Twilight Stones in Silithus) or just get the ZG set shoulders, since you already have the bracers, for the bonus +12 spell dmg.
l. Neck = Bad. I recommend voting for THIS NECK since it's very cheap and great!
m. Boots = Good.
n. Weapon/OH = Bad. This is one of the most annoying things to replace.  If you are exalted with Cenarion Hold, make an AQ20 run and reserve a hilt.  That can give you a really good mainhand.  If you have money, buying THIS MAINHAND (BOE on the AH) and voting for or farming THIS OFFHAND (from Live Strat/voting) will really be what you need.  If you can get a staff from MC or even THIS STAFF (from UBRS) would be a much needed upgrade.

o. Resistance Gear = You will need the Sylvan Gear 3/3 Nature Resist gear from the AH/Tailoring.  You will also need Gaea's Embrace, the NR back.  As well as those pieces, you can get an Abyssal Scepter and turn it in inside Cenarion Hold for a stam/NR ring, or farm a piece or two of the NR from Maraudon.  You will need to enchant these pieces, as well.  +100HP to chest, +15NR to back, +10NR to helm (from ZG)

As you can see, there are many pieces of gear that you can get from gold/voting/farming 5-10 mans, so I'd recommend getting started with both, as soon as possible.

5. Bindings - To me, this always is the most important and tells the most about the player.  What kind of mouse are you using?  How many buttons does it have?  On your UI, I noticed lots of bindings 1 to =, which leads me to believe you are using a Razer Naga.  If so, that is awesome.  If not, can you explain your bindings and why there are so many 1 to = bound?  Just curious.

Thanks for the reply, and as stated earlier, im doing all i can to improve my gear, enchants will be no problem, ress gear will be no problem. Im voting every day, and doing instance`s to improve, so i think ill have the most of the gear you linket in a few days, (if they drop)

I am using the razer naga , with 12 extra buttons, i just bought it 3 weeks ago, so im still new at it, but i have almost everything binded in my ui (fail cast`s can happen! )

I will ofcourse use any consumable`s that it requires to raid, dont worry about that.

I respecc when i get the prober gear to go fire, again no worries

Im 100% dedicated, and will do whatever it takes to join your ranks.

Aight, hello again! im back, as told in ingamemail ive been working alot the last weeks, and then 1week vacation, but now im back on track, and ready to update.

this is what i got upgraded since my post:

enchant`s still not done, but ill get on it the next couple of days, and im respeccing fire aswell, so i can get 20+ firespell on gloves.

Finally a little update, ive been farming a while for the bracers in silithus, when i saw a pug going to bwl, i was allowed to join if the group didnt find better geared mages then me, and they didnt we did up to ebonroc, and i got theese bracers from Broodlord Lashlayer!

A little update: I voted to get Lord Valthalak's Staff of Command, wich i have enchanted with 30sp , until i get a 1hand to use.
I have done Naxx attunement.
NR gear im at 154 unbuffed atm.
Got enchanted subtlety on cloak by Wierdgonzo (thanks man)

sooo, i just did mc with prevails and others from praeda, and got Sorcerous Dagger, not the best weap, but now i use that with my offhand from aq20, and enchanted with 30 sp

little tip,strat OH is way better then aq20 one,color dont matter xD

well from what i see here your nowhere close to cap,how much you have ?

10 from gear, and 6 from talents, isnt that the cap ? :s or have i gotten something wrong hehe

I see 15% overall,which is not bad,I myself play with that amount ,its called softcap and its actually better for fire,if u can take crit instead hit for that last hit u miss for full cap. But my tip is that if u use that blue OH you can get Aq20 ring called Band of Vaulated Secrets,which you can replace with one of your hit rings.So you would benefit 1 more crit. Its 12 spellpower vs 1 crit and theres no question which one u pick,considering mage dps depends on ignites.

Also bloodvine set is really cool statwise,but his problem is lack of stamina,i see you were lucky to get Ossi leggs,which are second BiS ingame.So u need to start looking for good chest to break that bloodvine set,becouse some fights especially ones in Naxx u need stamina to survive,and mages have biggest problem with that,we have lowest hp in raid,and there is no consumables beside Flask of Titan that can get you pass 5k if u have Bloodvine,and some fights u just cant survive without that ammount.So u will need to start looking for Hit in other items,and that offhand is really cool ,same with brd arena belt,you should get that.

Also dont forget to enchant T0.5 gloves with 20 firepower, put 7 int instead 9 stamina on bracers and keep using that Valthak staff untill u get aq20 hilt since u have enchanted it and its a cool staff,way better then Sorcerous dagger which is terribad item imo,disenchant it if u can
